Hi, I’m Rebekah. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing in person relationship therapy to individuals, couples and families in Lake Stevens, Washington and online therapy throughout the state.
I graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2012 and have been practicing as a therapist for over a decade. I have experience providing individual, couple, family and group therapy in outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization therapeutic settings. I make it a priority to stay current in my field by pursuing continuing education training on a yearly basis. I value professional growth and am involved in regular Emotionally Focused Couples’ Therapy supervision as well as a monthly professional consultation group. I am unabashedly a relationship nerd and you’ll find me in my personal and professional time engaging in books, movies, podcasts and shows that are about relationships.
As a marriage and family therapist, my focus is helping people to create better relationships with themselves and others. I consider it an honor when my clients trust me to help them with the most vulnerable and painful parts of their lives. I also speak from experience not just as a licensed professional counselor but also someone who has lived through the pain of loneliness, conflict and cutoff in relationships as well as hopelessness. There is nothing worse than feeling alone during a difficult season. Fortunately, I’ve experienced deep healing and guidance through other counselors walking me through my own journey. That is why I devote my career to helping others who are seeking healing and help for themselves and their relationships.
Additionally, I want prospective clients to know I am a Christian. If you’d like to know what this means for me, I always welcome questions from new or prospective clients. I hold it as a high value and professional commitment to respect my clients’ diverse values and belief systems. For clients who are looking to incorporate Christian counseling, I can provide that upon request. Most importantly, I am here to partner with you to support you in therapy in the individual way you need.
